The Saudi government plans to promote the country’s entertainment sector

Over time, the entertainment industry has gained the necessary credit and it is a thriving industry. The Saudi government also wants to boost the entertainment sector in the coming times.

With its neighbor, Dubai, flourishing in the arts and entertainment industry, Saudi Arabia is also on track to rise in the same segment. The Saudi government has invested heavily in a number of large-scale entertainment projects and wants the country to be a part of the development.

The pressure on more trained workforce in the entertainment sector has been encouraged by the Saudi investment heads, in which more and more manpower will be recruited in the coming times.

An initial agreement with the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has been signed to increase the quality of human capital in the sector.

A press release issued by GEA reads, “In line with one of the pillars of the Kingdom’s vision to create a vibrant society by 2030, the General Entertainment Authority has been established to organize, develop and lead the entertainment sector to provide exciting entertainment options and tailor-made experiences. to meet the needs. people from all walks of life around Saudi Arabia. Also to contribute to the improvement and enrichment of the lifestyle and social cohesion among the community. ”

The plan to promote the entertainment segment will provide jobs for many people and thus provide opportunities for families and friends to experience different activities together. The aim is also to ensure that there is enough trained manpower in the country to steer the various projects that are on the way.

The General Entertainment Authority was established five years ago and has promoted active events and attractions in Saudi Arabia, and one of the Kingdom’s visions for 2030 is to invest in the entertainment area.
