Jack Dorsey tries to sell his first tweet as an NFT

Jack Dorsey, the billionaire co-founder and CEO of Twitter, a man who labels bitcoin right on his Twitter bio, trying to sell its very first tweet as an NFT – a digital good that lives on the Ethereum blockchain.

You are probably familiar with the famous tweet, “just set up my twttr”:

Despite the fact that this tweet is available for free to watch when someone has wanted it for almost 15 years, Dorsey is now trying to sell it as an NFT, or ‘non-fungible sign’. through a platform called Valuable Articles.

As you might rightly expect, the bid is already north of $ 80,000.

What does the “buy” of this tweet actually mean? “What you buy is a digital tweet certificate, unique because it was signed and verified by the maker,” according to valuable questions.

In other words, a signature. You buy a signature.

The tweet will continue to remain on the internet as long as Dorsey, and the company Twitter, choose to continue it.
