Dell has introduced its new G15 laptop, which will first be available in China before coming to other regions around the world. The laptop’s industrial design is completely new, although the paint job is the most important.
Yep, these are paint stains you see in the photos. Dell says the new G15 uses ‘low-VOC watercolor for a durable and environmentally conscious design;’ it is available in colorways including Spector Green with Speckles, Phantom Gray with Speckles, Dark Shadow Gray and Obsidian Black. Our advice: go with the speckles.
We do not yet have the full specifications for the new G15, but it can be equipped with graphics Nvidia RTX 3000 series and has ‘three performance options ranging up to 115 W TDP.’ The screen is a 15.6-inch panel with a refresh rate of up to 360Hz. According to Dell, the G15’s thermal enhancement is due to a design based on Alienware technology, and there’s an optional 4 – zone RGB keyboard that uses AlienFX customization software.
The new G15 will go on sale in China today, and global availability will follow at some point in April. We asked Dell for further details.
